Supply Chain and Project Management Experience: I have over 10 years of working experience in the transportation, inventory and warehouse management part of the supply chain fields at the high-tech industry, where in my previous role as a logistics officer for Huawei UK & Ireland Office, I had successfully developed, implemented, optimised and managed two different types of end to end inventory management processes and its associated IT packages to their business subcontractors, resulting in not only meeting company’s requirement on ITOs (Inventory Turnover Rates) but also have reduced the reserve logistics costs by 71% for the company. In my role working for Dahua, one of the world’s leading video surveillance product manufacturers at their EU HQ in Netherlands, in a space of 6 months, I had successfully re-constructed the logistics processes for my employer, making sure that not only over 99% of customer orders can be delivered on time and within the budget, but also have recovered almost all the items that were either lost or damaged during the logistics operations and wrong charges that have been imposed by the LSPs either through direct claim to the responsible party or through insurance claims. I spent my last job working for Geodis at their freight forwarding division as an internal service quality controller for company's second biggest client on the global basis. For this job, over a period of a year after I started working there, I had successfully improved our both Gross and Net On Time Delivery Performance for the customer on the global basis by an average of 50%, ensured over 90% of the critical shipments can be delivered within the agreed lead time and driven up the timeliness of the key milestone updates in the logistics management system we use for the customer to over 95%.  This combined with my past work experiences, I have developed an excellent ability to map out the solutions for the complex business challenges and manage projects in any environments from start to the completion.

 E-business, Digital Marketing and IT Skills: I am confident and comfortable with MS Windows operating systems and a regular user of Microsoft Office Package and Internet for work as well as for the personal entertainment. I have designed, created and marketed my personal business website entirely by myself (http://www.gooddealsonoffer.co.uk/dealzone.htm, it is currently ranked as no.1 in the Google as well as Yahoo search result for London Heathrow Airport taxi services in both of the Traditional Chinese and the Simplified Chinese and top 5 for all other major search engines such as baidu.com, China equivalent of Google, see examples at the end of this cover letter) and completed many tasks and assignments at the university and during my current and previous work by using the software package above. Furthermore, I also have the experience of using the ERP systems such as WMS powered by SAP and Cargowise for placing purchase orders to the local suppliers as well as for inventory and logistics management purposes.

 Marketing and Sales Experience: my degree in Marketing has prepared me with a firm theoretical foundation to work in such industry sector. This was further enhanced by my practical experience through promoting my own on line business (http://www.gooddealsonoffer.co.uk/dealzone.htm/ ) as well as from my previous work experience at London Heathrow airport, where by applying the knowledge and skills I have gained from my degree courses, I have constantly generated an average of sales lead worth over £1,000 for the retailers in the terminals on the daily basis through interacting with certain type of passengers.

 Interpersonal & Communication Skills: I have an excellent interpersonal and communication skills. I regularly work on projects carried out in team; from my current and previous jobs, I have developed the confidence and ability to communicate and liaise with my colleagues at all levels and business partners/ customers from all sorts of backgrounds.

 Transferable Skills: Throughout my university courses and from my work experiences, I have gained a wide range of transferable skills such as research, presentation and teamwork skills etc. I can examine issues from a range of viewpoints; construct well-researched arguments and present information in a balanced and unbiased manner.
